Information the App processes

• Your settings. The cursor you chose, its size, effects, favorites, recently used cursors and the sites where you turned the App off are saved with Chrome’s storage. If Chrome Sync is on in your browser, Chrome syncs these settings between your own devices through your Google Account under Google’s Privacy Policy; we never receive them.
• Cursors you upload. Pictures you upload to make your own cursor are resized and stored only in this browser’s local extension storage. They are not synced and never leave your device. You can delete them in the App at any time.
• Pointer position on the page. To draw the cursor, the App follows where the mouse is and checks whether it is over a link, a button or a text field (to show a paw or the usual text cursor). This is used on the spot in your browser and is never recorded or stored.

The App does not require an account and does not collect your name, email address, browsing history, the content of the pages you visit or any other personal information. Nothing is sent to us or to anyone else.

Browser permissions

Chrome lists these permissions when you install the App. You can remove the App at any time on the chrome://extensions page, which also removes everything it has stored.

• Read and change data on all websites — the App has to run on every page to replace the cursor there. It only adds the cursor and its effects to the page; it does not read, collect or send what is on it.
• Storage — saves your settings and uploaded cursors in your browser.
• Scripting — right after installing or updating, adds the cursor to tabs that are already open, so you don’t have to reload them.

How we use information

• Show the cursor, trail and click effect you choose on the pages you open
• Remember your settings, favorites and the cursors you upload
• Reply to your support requests, if you write to us

We do not sell, share or transfer any information, and we do not use it for anything other than the App’s single purpose: replacing your mouse cursor.

Third-party services

The App makes no network requests of its own and uses no analytics, advertising, crash-reporting or tracking services. It does not load or run any remote code.

Tracking and advertising

The App does not track you, does not read or record the pages you visit or what you type, and contains no advertising.

Data retention

Settings and uploaded cursors stay in your browser until you change or reset them, delete an uploaded cursor, or remove the App. We do not store anything on servers.

Children

The App is not directed to children under 13 (or the minimum age in your country), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from them. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, contact us and we will delete it.

Your rights

Depending on where you live (for example, under the GDPR or CCPA), you may have the right to access, correct, delete or export your personal information, to object to or restrict its processing, and to withdraw consent. To exercise any of these rights, email us — we will respond within 30 days. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.

Security

All data stays in Chrome’s storage for this extension on your devices; other websites and extensions cannot read it. If you email us, your message is kept in our mailbox only as long as needed to help you.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date above shows when it was last changed. Significant changes will be announced in the App’s Chrome Web Store listing and on this page.
